boardwalk, and was pleased to report that the section from Bradley Beach to the fishing pier has been repaired, as well as a large portion north of the pavilion. He mentioned the severe storm that occurred on the day of the catastrophic fire that destroyed the historic Manchester Inn and six surrounding homes. As for parking, people are
encouraged to use the parking lot located on Broadway between Beach and Ocean Avenues. One can park there during the day if a beach badge is presented. The North End lot may not be used for parking. Also, a beach shuttle service is being instituted on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. between Ocean Grove and the parking lots at the Early Childhood Center and Midtown Community School. Rev. Hoffman said that the Camp Meeting sponsors many spiritual, educational, cultural and recreational programs all summer long, and described many of them. Rev. Hoffman then answered questions from the audience. Topics of interest included beach erosion, natural grass vs. planned regular grass, and signs outside the entrance to Ocean Grove.
President Dunlap thanked Rev. Hoffman for his interesting talk, and announced that homeowner hats are for sale on the back table at a cost of $10.00, as well as tickets to our annual August breakfast
meeting at The Starving Artist restaurant on August 28th at 8:30 a.m., priced at $10.00, the same as last year, thanks to trustee Len Pugliese.
