Fran said that the purpose of the committee is to protect and maintain the historic elements of Ocean Grove, and urged residents to attend the public hearings on the Master Plan. Fran answered questions from the audience. President Dunlap stated that he would like clarification in the Master Plan concerning multi-family dwellings and parking.

The meeting was called to order by president Dunlap at 10:05 a.m. with a prayer offered by Rev. Scott Hoffman, followed by the pledge of allegiance.
Secretary Meade read the minutes of the membership meeting of May 22, 2010. Minutes were approved by audience vote.
Broadway Drainage. Trustee Fran Paladino, who is the contact person in this matter, read excerpts of a recent letter from the D.E.P. addressed to Neptune Township granting all approvals except for an exception needed for a reported bulkhead located at a single-family dwelling. The Township engineer has replied to this letter stating that there are no single-family dwellings involved in this project. It appears that the State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) is not pursuing the matter.
Master Plan. Fran Paladino, filling in for president Dunlap who was out of town, recently chaired a meeting of the ad hoc Master Plan committee. They met with the Township engineer and other members of the Township Master Plan committee to discuss and recommend adjustments to specifically three elements of the Master Plan: (1) Conservation; (2) Parks, Recreation and Open Space; and (3) Community Facilities.
